We want to remind you that at Beyers Analytical every report entitles you to twenty (20) minutes of consultation to go over the results and what they mean for your brewing operation. We've heard that not all labs are willing to do this, but we feel that is inappropriate. Our reasoning is that testing should provide data as well as actionable insights. We don't want any of our clients ever confused about what their results mean. You don't have to use the time, but it will always be there if you need it. We're in this together.
Sample Submission Instructions
Place an order for testing using either of the two options below:
Traditional Ordering: Please call us to set-up sample delivery and complete our "Request for Analysis" form. You will need to include this form with your samples when you ship them. You will be invoiced once testing is completed.
Online Ordering: We've put together our most frequently-requested assays and test bundles in the online store below. Purchase the tests you'd like performed and include the receipt with your samples when you ship them.
Collect at least 350 mL of each sample into containers that can be sealed. Wrap the lid with electrical tape to ensure alcohol and other volatile compounds do not evaporate. Please send samples in packaging that will not break during transit. Be sure to use packaging materials (e.g. styrofoam, shipping bubble wrap, etc) if you are sending samples in glass containers.
Address the package to:
Beyers Analytical Brewing Sciences, LLC 108 Coronado Ct. Suite B Fort Collins, CO 80525
Indicate "Up" and "Sample(s) for Laboratory Analysis Only" on the outside of your package.
Ship your sample to us using your carrier of choice. Note that USPS does not ship alcohol.
Beer: Samples generally do not need to be refrigerated. However, this can be dependent on the tests you're requesting. Contact us if you have questions.
Kombucha: Shipping can be dependent on the tests that you want to run. Generally, samples do need to be refrigerated and we recommend 1- or 2-day shipping. However, feel free to call us if you would like our input. We're all about saving you money.
Data Analysis and Reporting
We will analyze the samples and send you a report detailing the results. Most tests are completed within 24-48 hours of receiving the samples, excluding advanced analyses (HPLC, GC-FID, etc) and microbe testing. Let us know if you need help understanding what the results mean for your operation.
